10-DAY PANAMA CANAL CRUISE
JANUARY 6-16, 2008

Sail aboard the Coral Princess while passing through the massive man-made Panama Canal. Marvel over this 51-mile "water-bridge" that took over 400 years to build. Your journey will begin in Ft. Lauderdale, where you will step onboard the Coral Princess. Rest and relax for the first two days at sea, or gamble in the London-themed casino while sailing to the first port, Aruba. Once docked in Aruba, be sure to explore the island and take a picture of Natural Bridge, where Aruba's enduring surf carved this bridge from the island's coral. Next stop is Cartagena, Columbia, the old walled city, where you will find the atmosphere reminiscent Coral Princess Loungeof the Spanish Main, the Inquisition and the 19th-century wars for independence. Sail over and through the Panama Canal which was completed in 1914. Enter Colón, which is the second largest city in Panama, situated on the Atlantic coast at the Caribbean end of the Panama Canal. It was made a duty-free port in 1953 and is the world's largest Free Trade Zone outside Hong Kong. Next you will enter the city of Limon, Costa Rica where you will have the option of taking the fascinating Aerial Tram ride, as featured on the Discovery Channel, through the forest canopy and its hanging gardens, or climb aboard the famous Jungle Train to explore deep into the jungles where beauty and beasts abound. Ft. Lauderdale: Seven miles of perfect beaches welcome the seagoing traveler to Ft. Lauderdale. Renowned for sun and water sports, the city also offers fine shopping along the Riverwalk and a perfect jumping-off point for a tour of the Everglades.

Natural BridgeAruba: Dutch influence still lingers on Aruba as part of the Netherlands' Antilles until independence in 1986. This balmy Caribbean island is a study in contrasts. Its arid interior is dotted with cactus and windswept divi-divi trees while secluded coves and sandy beaches form its coast. Aruba's long and colorful heritage is reflected in its dialect. Called Papiamento, it's a combination of Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, African and English.

Cartagena: A World Heritage Site, Cartagena was founded by Spanish conquerors and is considered by many to be one of South America's most beautiful, magical cities. Spend time exploring the walled Old City center.

Panama Canal: One of the great engineering feats of the 20th century, the Panama Canal accomplished what nature forgot to do, it connected the Atlantic to the Pacific, and reduced the 12,000 mile sailing distance between New Panama CanalYork and San Francisco by more than 7,000 miles.

Limon, Costa Rica: Stretching along the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, the Limon province is one of the most beautiful locations in the world -- a magical mixture of mangroves, pristine beaches, waterfalls, volcanoes, lush tropical rainforests and amazing wildlife.

Montego Bay, Jamaica: The Jamaican people call this mountainous beach community of mangrove wetlands "MoBay." Flowering trees and a turquoise sea combine with the colorful, lively reggae culture to create a feast for the senses. Jamaica's spirit is reflected in the art, cuisine and architecture of the island, where bird watching, water sports, golf, music festivals and river rides all add to the good vibes.
